Hi Malcolm, I am from Port Elizabeth, I saw your comment on Frank Viola's blog, and yes it is indeed $3.99 for us.
I was surprised to see you are from here (Africa) and was even delighted to see Keith Green mentioned by you.
My wife and I, and my Sister are great fans of Keith Green.
Blessings

I have been dwelling on an idea, that the Holy Spirit brought us to Christ and established His credentials in human culture, so that He could fulfil His function as the mediator between God and men. Thus, as the Spirit of God spoke through biblical history to reveal Christ, so Christ fulfilled that past and hung, suspended in the middle, between heaven and earth and in the middle of human history, to redeem us. The outworking then points to a different future, namely the outworking of redemption and His mediation, until our journeys culminate in the presence of the Father.

God always answers our prayers - He says "yes"(you can have it now); "no" (it's not good for you); or "wait" (I have something much better for you). In my experience (& I'm sure everyone will agree), it's the waiting that's the most difficult! Bernie imports goods from China. He has to put the order together; pay for it & send pop; then he has to wait, 4 - 12 weeks, depending on stock, means of shipping, etc. I think this relates so well to prayer (Jesus always used everyday things & occurrences to illustrate His point). We do what we need to do ("put the order together" - I say this with reverence, because our prayers should never be reduced to a "shopping list"); & then we wait on the Lord. His delay could be His putting everything together. That is where God's "suddenly" comes in (another subject). He is working all things for our good, & we need to wait in faith. I don't believe God delays just for the sake of delaying. He has a plan & purpose in everything. When we can't (or won't) wait, & take matters into our hands, the process is aborted & we have to start all over again. (I wonder how many spiritual abortions I have done? Sobering thought).
